Malaysian, Armenian PMs greet Sheikh Hasina
More world leaders including the prime ministers of Malaysia and Armenia have extended their heartfelt congratulations to Awami League President Sheikh Hasina on her assumption of office as the prime minister for the fourth time.
"I wish to extend my warmest and sincere congratulations to Your Excellency on your reappointment as the Prime Minister of the People's Republic of Bangladesh," Malaysian Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad said in his message to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Dr Mahathir continued: "Your electoral victory in the 11th parliamentary elections was a resounding indication of support of the people of your country for your contribution to the development of Bangladesh's economy."
The Malaysian premier hoped that the two countries will continue to cooperate towards beneficial partnership and elevate the current relations to greater heights.
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in his message said: "I would like to express my sincere congratulations on your reassuming the position of the Prime Minister of the People's Republic of Bangladesh."
"I am confident that during your term in office, the existing relations between Armenia and Bangladesh based on goodwill, mutual trust and friendship will continue to expand and strengthen to the benefit of our peoples," he said.
The Armenian premier wished Sheikh Hasina good health and every success, as well as peace and prosperity to the friendly people of Bangladesh.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina extended her sincere thanks to Kyrgyz Premier Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev for congratulating her on her reappointment as the Prime Minister of Bangladesh.
"I express sincere thanks and appreciation to you for congratulating me on my re-appointment as the Prime Minister of Bangladesh," Sheikh Hasina said in her message to the Kyrgyz premier.
She assured the Kyrgyz premier of her commitment to work together for the further strengthening of the existing brotherly relations between the two countries.
"I wish you, Excellency, good health, happiness and personal well being, and for the continued peace and progress of the friendly people of Kyrgyz Republic," she said. -BSS
