Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will hold dialogue with the political parties and alliances again, who took part in the dialogue before the December 30 elections, said the ruling party General Secretary Obaidul Quader on Sunday.
He revealed the information at a press conference before the party's joint meeting with the Dhaka South and North city units, nearby five district units-Narayanganj, Narsingdi, Gazipur, Manik-ganj and Munshiganj at the party's Bangabandhu Avenue Headquarters. The meeting was convened to make the AL's grand rally on 19th January in the city a success.
Quader said, "The dialogues were held with 75 political parties including Oikyafront and Juktofront. As the elections is over now, our leader said in the joint meeting of Working Committee and Advisory Council that she will invite the parties and alliances."
He said, the Prime Minister will exchange views with them in the talks and they will be entertained at Ganobhaban. "We are in agreement with the AL President's view of holding dialogue again," Quader said, noting that they will be invited simultaneously. He, however, did not inform media about the exact date of the dialogue to take place.
The political parties including Oikyafront, Juktofront, 14-party, Jatiya
Party will be invited by letters which will be sent soon, the AL General Secretary said.  In reply to a question, Quader said the AL will welcome BNP and its front allies if they take part in the upcoming upazila elections in March.
On Dr Kamal Hossain's repentance for ties with BNP in the elections, the ruling party General Secretary said, "Dr Kamal's speech seems to be self-contradictory as he forged ties with BNP knowingly because BNP has no existence without Jamaat. "In such a situation, why has Dr Kamal made such a great mistake? He must pay for it."
