Khulna-5 BNP candidate quits vote

Khulna-5 (Phultala-Dumuria) BNP candidate Mia Ghulam Parwar on Sunday morning boycotted the vote alleging that his agents were driven out from the polling centers.

Ghulam Parwar, also central Nayeb-e-Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, announced the boycott around 10:00am.

He alleged that his election agents have been forced to go out of the poling stations just an hour of the commencement of polling. Even, police with Awami League are allowing only AL supporters to enter the poling stations.

Under the circumstances, it is quite impossible to continue election, the Jamaat leader added.
