 Partha files writ challenging actor Farooque’s candidacy Dhaka-17 BNP candidate Barrister Andalib Rahman Partha filed a writ petition challenging the candidacy of Awami League candidate Akbar Hossain Pathan ( Farooque) in the constituency alleging him is a bank loan defaulter. Partha filed the writ petition with High Court (HC) on Monday, said his lawyer Barrister Md Ruhul Quddus Kazal, reports UNB. Earlier getting nomination, Farooque filed a writ petition with HC to get rid of loan default but the court was yet to pass a verdict on it. The hearing of the writ petition could be held on Wednesday, December 26 with the HC beach of Justice JBM Hasan and Justice Md Khairul Alam. |
