Hasina: A Daughter’s Tale coming on TV

Hasina: A Daughter's Tale, based on the present Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will be released on satellite channels this time. On December 15 the film will be televised at 3pm simultaneously by Maasranga Television, Gazi TV and Channel i. Dr Hasan Mahmud, secretary of publication of the ruling party made this declaration yesterday towards the end of a general election campaign.
Hasina: A Daughter's Tale was released on November 16 in four cineplexes of the country. Being a docudrama it captures how a loving daughter of a national leader's family is forced through hardships of reality. Piplu Khan, director of the film claims that the film is not about the political leader Sheikh Hasina rather it is about the daughter of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and her sister Sheikh Rehana. The film shows Sheikh Hasina taking up various roles as a common lady through the harsh ups and downs of life and also as a political leader. The documentary runs for seventy minutes. It is currently going on at Star Cineplex, Blockbuster Cinemas in Dhaka and at Silver Screen in Chattogram.
