Sharishabari BNP candidate regains nomination, distributes sweets
BNP leaders and activities distributed sweets Sharishabari uapzila in celebration of approval of cancelled nomination of Jamalpur-4 National Oikya Front candidate BNP leader Faridul Kabir Talukdar Shamim on Thursday.

Faridul Kabir Talukdar Shamim appealed to the EC challenging the cancellation of the nomination on December 3, and the EC over turned the cancellation order paving the way for him to contest the 11th parliamentary election.
Sarishabari upazila Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal president Hafizur rahman Milan said, “Faridul Kabir Talukdar is the last resort for Sarishabari BNP. Local leaders and activists are joyous at the regaining of his nomination. A Milad and a prayer session have been arranged for Friday to express our gratitude to the Almighty.”
Faridul Kabir said, “I resigned from the post of upazila chairman on 26 November and handed over the chairman’s official car, resignation letter and other things to the Sahrishabari UNO. But the returning officer cancelled my nomination at the behest of the government to check my victory.”
