Five pharmacies fined in Khulna

KHULNA, Nov 10: A mobile court here fined five pharmacies Taka 38,000 for keeping date-expired medicines and running pharmacies with fake licence at Paikgacha Upazila Sadar recently.
Executive Magistrate and Upazila Assistant Commissioner Dr Abdul Awal, led by Medicine Administration Department Supervisor Abdur Rashid, fined the shops.
Of them, Rahila Pharmacy was fined Taka 3,000, Farin Drug House Taka 1,000, Mollah Pharmacy Taka 2,000, Moral Pharmacy Tk 2,000 and Rahima Pharmacy Tk 30,000.
Sub-Inspector of Paikgachha Police Station Babul Hossain, and Surveyor Shakirul Islam were also present at that time.
