22 Jamaat men, women activists held in Bogura

Police on Friday arrested a total of 22 activists of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, including 6 women activists, from different areas of Bogura district town.
Police arrested 16 leaders and activists from the residence of Nandigram upazila Jamaat Amir Anwarul Islam while conducting a meeting there around 9 am, said Sanatan Chakrabarty, additional superintendent of Bogura police.
The team also recovered Jihadi books and several motorcycles from the spot.
In another drive police arrested six women activists of the party form Sadar upazila, the officer added, reports UNB.
