![]() Cement-laden ship sinks in Bay Mohammad Selim, director of Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BWTC), said the Dhaka-bound cement-laden 'MV Sheikh Fardin' ship sank in the Bay of Bengal after being hit by lighter vessel 'MV Bashundhara-27' in the morning, reports UNB. However, 13 crews of the ship were rescued with the help of local people, he added. Some 1500 tons of cement sank in the Bay. |
