Colourful class rooms delight pre-primers in Bauphal

A colourful classroom with entertainment materials is an enjoyable place for kids who love to learn their lessons in a happy way.

Children become attentive to their study with fresh mind if there is a flower garden beside the well-decorated verandah of a school.

That perfect environment has been created at Nurainpur Government Primary School of Bauphal Upazila in Patuakhali, where the pre-primary class room has got a very beautiful look.

Children aged about 5-6 years are pre-primary students. They like to learn through amusement. The government decided to make their classes attractive so that they attend school regularly.

Students can see national programs in computer, they take part in physical exercises, language work, creative work, mathematics learning, fine arts training, and in games and sports in Nurainpur Government Primary School.

When students get tired, there is facility for taking rest in the room. There are also all facilities for entertainment-based pre-primary education in this school.

Pre-primary students Tasfiya and Moon said that the school is good for them than the house. They come to school regularly and play beside study.

Nurainpur Government Primary School Head Teacher Sher-e-Gul Khan said the cost of pre-primary class room decoration is about Tk 1 lakh. But only Tk 15 thousand government allocation was received in the third year. The classroom was decorated with the financial assistance of local guardians.

Baupal Upazila Assistant Education Officer Saidur Rahman Swapan said pre-primary class rooms of 4/5 schools were decorated till now for the development and learning of the children. The work of decorating pre-primary classroom rooms of all 235 primary schools of the upazila is going on gradually. He urged local education enthusiasts to come forward with overall support.
