Chief Whip ASM Feroz seeks votes for Boat
Jatiya Sangsad Chief Whip ASM Feroz MP sought vote for Boat symbol in the upcoming parliamentary elections to continue the development trend in the country.
He was speaking as the chief guest at the Keshobpur union parishad auditorium organized while exchange of views with local people.
Principal Salehuddin Piqu presided over the meeting where Upazila Nirbahi Officer Pijus Chandra Dey, Upazila council vice-chairman Mosharraf Hossain Khan, Upazila Awami League secretary Abdul Motaleb Hawlader, Chief Whip's APS Anisur Rahman and Keshobpur union parisad chairman Advocate Mohiuddin Ahmed Lablu spoke, among others.
People from different classes, including local teachers, public representatives, businessmen, ulema, imams, village leaders, rickshaw pullers and day labourers participated in the meeting.
At that time, Chief Whip ASM Feroz MP addressed the problems of the people, including public toilets, deep tube wells and road construction. Chief Whip promised to solve all the problems quickly.
The Chief Whip said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s government has been constructing Padma bridge with its own funding defying domestic and foreign conspiracy.
In Patuakhali, the Awami League government did various development works, including Paira Sea Port, Patuakhali Medical College, Sheikh Hasina cantonment, power plant at Barguna and Lebukhali Bridge. To maintain the continuation of this development, the victory of the Boat will be ensured in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
ASM Feroz said Khaleda Zia was voted to power in the name of religion. But she did not do any work for the development of religion. Sheikh Hasina performs prayers 5 times a day, recites the Holy Quran. Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman stopped the jatra, hauji, naked dance, and horse race. He donated land for Tongi Bishaw Ijtema and Kakrail Mosque. Islamic Foundation and Madrasa Board were also estabished by him. Today the Islamic Foundation is implementing various programs across the country.
“Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina believes in secularism. He respects all religions and is working for the country's welfare,” he added.
