‘CSR fund could be used for autistic children’

Commerce Secretary Subhasish Basu urged the owners of the corporate houses of the country to come forward to do something for the welfare of the autistic children.
Subhasish Basu said the riches should take initiatives to develop hidden talents of disabled children to lead their lives with normal people in the society.
 In this case, the corporate houses can use their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) fund by taking tax free advantage, the Commerce Secretary said during a visit to Sarika Fantasy Amazing Park at the Dhaka International Trade Fair, late last week.

the Commerce Secretary lauded the sponsors of the stall that arranges free amusement for the mentally challenged children.
He further said: "We have to take responsibility for these challenged children so that they become skilled citizens, not burdened in the family."
He also thanks the authority of the Sarika Fantasy Amazing Park for arranging of free entertainment for the autistic children at 23rd Dhaka International Trade Fair and urged to continue this service in future for the recreation of the disable children.
