JSC examinee commits suicide over result

Rajshahi: A girl committed suicide after failing in Junior School Certificate (JSC) examination in Bagha upazila on Saturday evening.

The deceased Zhumi Khatun, 12, daughter of Mozammel Haque, resident of Pirgachha area of the upazila.

Bagha Police Station Officer in-Charge (OC) Rezaul Hasan said Zhumi committed suicide by hanging herself in house around 7:30 pm after knowing the result of JSC examination.

A general diary was filed with the police station in this connection, the OC added.
