Xiaomi introduces Redmi 5A in Bangladesh
Xiaomi introduced the smartphone dubbed 'most affordable fourth generation device' Redmi 5A in Bangladesh recently.
In a press statement, the company claimed the phone is equipped with 425 snap dragon quad core processor becoming a "Smartphone King" as the phone speeds up with operating memory of 2 gigabyte (RAM).
Bangladesh distributor of Xiaomi, Solar Electro Bangladesh Limited (SEBL) launched the phone at function at a Dhaka hotel on Wednesday. SEBL Chief Executive Officer Dewan Kanon presented the key features of the phone while the company's Managing Director DM Majibor Rahman was also present.
Dewan Kanon said, "We have termed the phone as 'smart phone king' as it's the most affordable gadget for fourth generation network users and providers in the market. Targeting the youth generation, the price of the phone with 13 mega pixel rear camera is fixed at Tk 10, 990".
The company officials also informed that the users of Grameenphone will avail 10 gigabyte of internet as freebies. The phone holds a battery of 3000 mAH which is capable to support the phone up to 8 days, according the statement.
The phone is available with 2 years of warranty at 54 authorised Xiaomi stores across the country as well as through online booking at-xiaomibangladesh.com.bd/MIStore.
