Man's body found in Pabna

Pabna, Dec 23: Police recovered the body of a man from a pond at BL Bari village in Faridpur upazila on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Nazmul Islam, 49, son of late Abdul Kuddus of Gouripur upazila in Mymensingh district, who used to live at his in-laws house at Gokorethi village in Sirajganj district.
Faridpur police station office-in-charge Shariful Islam said being informed by local people police rushed to the spot and rescued the body from a pond of the village.
The body was sent to the Pabna General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
Nazmul's family members told police that Nazmul was mentally challenged.
