7 killed as bus hits parked truck in Gopalganj

Gopalganj, Dec 1: At least seven people, including a child, have been killed and 20 others injured when a bus hit a wood-laden truck parked on Dhaka-Khulna Highway in Gopalganj.
Gopalganj Fire Service Station Master Niamul Huda confirmed the number of deaths in the accident that took place at Bedgram around 8pm on Friday.   
The injured people were admitted to Gopalganj General Hospital, Huda said.
He could not provide details of the victims immediately.
Fire Service and police were conducting a rescue operation, he added.
