Schoolgirl killed in Noakhali accident

Noakhali: A schoolgirl was killed after being hit by a motorcycle at Amtali area in Senbag upazila on Sunday evening.

The deceased was identified as Parvin Akter Mili, 13, a class VII student of Senbag MM Chowdhury Memorial High School. She was the daughter of late Mokhlesur Rahman.

School headmaster Waziullah said a motorbike knocked Parvin down on her way to school in the morning, leaving her critically injured.

Local people rushed her to the Upazila Health Complex. Later, she was shifted to Noakhali General Hospital following deterioration of her condition. Parvin succumbed to her injuries in the evening.

Senbag Police Station OC Harun-or-Rashid said they seized the bike.
