JOYPURHAT, June 28: Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), in a drive, arrested a man along with fake currency notes worth Tk 1.51 lakh from Haripur village in Sadar upazila of the district on Monday night.
The arrestee has been identified as Tofazzal Hossain, 31, son of Sekendar Ali, resident of the village.
Major Md Hasan Arafat, camp commander of Joypurhat RAB, said, being tipped off, a team of the elite force conducted the drive in the
house of Tofazzal at the village around 7:30 pm and recovered the fake currency notes of Tk 500 and Tk 100 denomination amounting to Tk 1,51,800. 
They also seized fake note making machines from the house.
