Skipper Mahmudullah's all-round performance helped Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club to earn the 5th victory beating Brothers Union by 11 runs while Legends of Rupganj posted an overwhelming six-wicket victory over Cricket Coaching School and Kalabagan Krira Chakra defeated Victoria Sporting Club by eight runs in the Walton Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League held on Thursday.

With the day's feat, Sheikh Jamal DC brightened their chance to reach the super league securing 10 points from eight matches as they advanced to the 4th slot in the league table while Brothers Union bagged eight points from eight outings.
Sent in to bat first, Sheikh Jamal DC scored a moderate total of 252 runs for eight wickets in their allocated 50 overs.
National all-rounder Mahmudullah completed his 2nd century in the league hammering 107 runs off 114 balls hitting five fours and three sixes while Marshall Ayub scored a half century making 84-ball 54 runs with three fours.
Sanjit Saha grabbed three wickets for 69 runs while Nur Alam took two for 32 runs.
In reply, Brothers Union fought hard and were forced to fold their innings at 241 runs for eight in allocated 50 overs.
National opener Imrul Kayes contributed 70 runs off 91 deliveries hitting five fours and two sixes while former national cricketer Tushar Imran scored 75-ball 55 runs with six hits to the fence.
Mahmudullah also displayed his brilliance in bowling grabbing three wickets for 29 runs and was adjudged man of the match.

Rupganj vs Cricket Coaching
Put to bat first by Rupganj, Cricket Coaching scored a decent total of 242 for seven from their stipulated 50 overs.
Skipper Rajin scored a brilliant 106 runs off 138 balls laced with eight fours and one six. Mosharraf Hossain grabbed three wickets conceding 32 runs.
Chasing a winning target of 243 runs set by CCS, Rupganj reached home for the loss of four wickets with 10 balls remaining.
Mohammad Mithun of Rupganj was named the player of the match for his impressive batting performance.

Kalabagan KC vs Victoria SC
Chasing a winning target of 214 runs set by Kalabagan, Victoria SC found the chase very stiff losing wickets in regular intervals and finally dismissed at 205 in 49.4 overs.
Al-Amin top scored with 67 runs followed by Jubair Ahmed's unbeaten 35 runs. Sharifullah bagged three wickets for 32 runs while Abdur Razzak picked up two wickets giving away 45 runs.
Earlier, Kalabagan scored a moderate total of 213 runs for all in 49 overs, after they opted to bat first. Kalabagan's Mehrab Jr. contributed unbeaten 86-run off 112-ball faced with four boundaries to take his team over two hundred landmark.
Mahbubul Alam captured three wickets for Victoria conceding 54 runs while Al-Amin, PC de Silva and Kamrul Islam Rabbi shared two wickets apiece.
Mehrab Hossain Jr. of Kalabagan was named the player of the match.
