Justice For Tanu Murder
JU Theater stages mime show

Cultural activists of Jahangirnagar University (JU) on Thursday protested the murder of theater activist Sohagi Jahan Tanu and sought justice through staging mime show at the campus organised by Jahangirnagar Theater.
Jahangirnagar Theater troupe performed their mime shows in front of the university main gate, social science building and central shaheed Minar from 10:30am to 11:30am. They also performed some songs protesting the murder.
Among others, Nazmul Hossain, Pwartho Protim, Sakib, Sumon, Dip, Aoditi, Mou,Nihat and Mou Moni performed the mime show.
Addressing the programme, Zubair Tipu, President of Jahangirnagar Sangskritik Jote said, "We demand justice for Tanu. We are afraid of getting justice as law enforcement agency failed to capture any killer yet after one month of Tanu's Murder rather the law enforcement agency have lengthened the process".
Sohagi Jahan Tanu, a Comilla-based college student and theatre activist, was murdered after alleged rape on March 20.
