It's sometime seen that a booter scored laying on the ground but it is not very common that a lying booter scoring with a header and that's what happened on Wednesday in the match between Rahmatganj Muslim Friends Society and Soccer Club, Feni in the KFC Independence Cup Football at the BNS.
It was the 71st minute of the match and Rahmatganj were leading by 2-1 goals when their Congolese striker Siyo Zunapio displayed the funny thing. The foreigner carried the ball into Soccer's box where he found opponent custodian far ahead of the post and fooling the custodian he went near the unguarded post and lay on the ground before sending the ball home with a header.
Before that in the 11th minute, Ghanaian striker Ntim Twum frank converted a cross of skipper Akbar Hossain Ridon to put the Soccer boys ahead. It was a bad luck for the Feni outfits that they could not maintain the lead for so long as Giant killers Rahmatganj equalised the margin with a 25-minute goal of midfielder Sohel Mia.
Rahmatganj went ahead in the 66th minute when Congolese striker Siyo Zunapio sent a cross of striker Nurul Abser into the post.
Then with the funny header, Zunapio scored the third goal for the winners.
However, Feni's Ghanaian Twum Frank scored his second goal to reduce the margin for the team and unfortunately the final whistle was blown a few second later that only left the boys more depressed.
Soccer Club, Feni who were placed eighth in the eleven-team Bangladesh Premier League last season, held Dhaka Abahani boys in a 1-1 margin in their first match of the ongoing event. On the other hand, Rahmatganj who were tenth in the last BPL were defeated to Team BJMC by 1-0 margin in the first match.
