The Greater Mymensingh Football tournament-2016 will be kicked off from Friday at Mymensingh stadium to extend regional assistance among six districts including Mymensingh, Jamalpur, Kishoreganj, Netrokona, Tangail and Sherpur.
Greater Mymensingh Coordination Council said this while holding a press conference at Euro Asiano Chinese restaurant at Ramna Park in the capital on Thursday in the capital.
M Hafizur Rahman Munshi, Mahmud Ali, M Nazirul Islam Nazu, Rashedul Hasan Shely, Shafiqul Islam and districts samity presidents and secretaries were present.
The six districts will divided into two groups "Jamuna" and "Brahmaputra" compiling three teams in each groups. While top two teams in each group will face each other in the semis. Besides the final match will take place on April 1 at Tangail Stadium.
