ACC set to sue 2 pvt firm officials for embezzling Tk 10 lakh

The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) is set to file a case against two top officials of a private firm for allegedly embezzling Tk 10 lakh.

The Commission at a recent meeting decided to file a case against them, according to an official notification posted on the Commission’s website on Wednesday.

ACC deputy director and inquiry officer Manzur Morshed will file the case soon against president of Rapid Finance and Commerce MCS Limited Zainul Abedin Majumder and its general secretary Nazmul Haque Khan.

According to the ACC probe initiated in 2015, the two accused in collusion with each other swindled investor’s money from the private firm.
