NETRAKONA, Mar 14: A man was killed following a fracas over land dispute at Panchhata village under Khaliajuri upazila here on Saturday evening.
The deceased was identified as Khelu Mia, 50, of the village.
Locals said Khelu Mia and his neighbour Maju Mia had been at loggerheads over fixing the border of their houses for long. Following this, both were locked in an altercation and a hand-to-hand fight in the evening. At one stage, Maju Mia punched Khelu Mia, causing him to fall on the ground and killed on the spot.
Wife of the victim filed a murder case against two with Khaliajuri Police Station.
