
Each of the winners under Southeast Bank was invited to attend an awarding ceremony held at the bank's head office in the city on Saturday, said a press release.
Officials of Western Union, Southeast Bank, ONE Bank, Premier Bank and Shahjalal Islami Bank took part in the ceremony.
After a selection process that covered across the country, individuals were chosen as winners based on their answers to the question of what is their biggest wish.
The six winners were selected based on the uniqueness, sincerity and warmth of their answers.
Each winner received a considerable financial sum that will enable them to fulfil their special wish.
The promotion was not only fitting for a time of giving such as Ramadan, but also strongly reflected the brand ethos "Moving Money for better" of the WU, a leader in global payment services.
Under the campaign, anyone in Bangladesh was eligible to having their special wish fulfilled and no purchase or transaction was required from them in order to qualify.
A total of six winners were selected and awarded at the end.
Among the winners -- Md Asadhul, Sheuly Akter and Mostofa Kamal took their awards from Southeast Bank, Md Rasel Mir from ONE Bank, Foyez Ahmmed from Premier Bank and Md Mizanur Rahman Bhuiyan took award from Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited.
Their wishes ranged from arranging an eye transplant operation for one's mother to buying an air conditioner for a local mosque.
Western Union, along with Southeast Bank, The Premier Bank, Shahjalal Islamic Bank and ONE Bank, made the wishes come true.
