A seminar on self-assessment was held at Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia on March 03. Law and Muslim Jurisprudence of the university arranged the seminar. It was held at the seminar room of the Faculty of Law and Shariah at
10 am.
Eminent columnist and educationist Professor Dr M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari was present here as the key note speaker with the senior Professor Dr Selim Toha.
Prof Rashid Askari addressed at the seminar on Quality Assurance and Self-Assessment at the Program Level Entity.  
Dean of the Law and Shariah Faculty, Professor Dr Nurunnahar and acting Chairman of the Law and Muslim Jurisprudence Department Professor Dr M Johurul Islam were present there as the special guests.
Assistant Professor of the department Armin Khatun conducted the seminar while Professor Dr Akram Hossain Majumdar, Dr Abdul Karim Khan, Dr Halima Khatun, Dr Reba Mandol, Khondokar Towhidul Anam, Dr Hamida Khatun, attended the seminar, among others. The representatives of the departmental students also took part at the seminar.
The seminar was also organized with the proper aid of Higher Education and Quality Enhancement Project (HEQEP) and University Grant Commission (UGC).
