UAE post tiny 81/9 against India

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) posted a meagre total of 81 runs for 9 against mighty India in the dead rubber of the 13th Asia Cup at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on Thursday.

Opening the bat after winning the toss, the ICC associate nation played 20 overs to make the score with number-four batsman Shaiman Anwar topscoring 43 runs.

Anwar faced 48 balls to hit three boundaries and one six before being run out at 81/9 in 19.5 overs.

Opener Rohan Mustafa Mostafa was another double figure scorer with 11off 22 balls involving two boundaries.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar bagged two wickets for economic 8 runs in four overs.

Yuvraj Singh, Hardik Pandya, Harbhajan Singh, Jashprit Bumrah and Pawan Negi took one wicket each for India.
