BATBC to give 550pc cash dividend

The Board of Directors of British American Tobacco Bangladesh Company Limited (BATBC) has recommended 550 per cent cash dividend for its shareholders for the year that concluded on December 31, 2015.
The annual general meeting (AGM) of BATBC will be held at 10:30am on April 12, 2016 at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in the city's Karwan Bazar area.
The company's record date is on March 14, 2016.
The company has also reported Net Profit after Tax of Tk 5,846.01 million, EPS of Tk 97.43, NAV per share of Tk 243.49 and NOCFPS of Tk 151.68 for the year that ended on December 31, 2015.

LBFL recommends 30pc dividend
The Board of Directors of LankaBangla Finance Limited (LBFL) has recommended 30 per cent dividend -- 15 per cent cash dividend and 15 per cent stock dividend - for its shareholders for the year that ended on December 31, 2015.
The annual general meeting (AGM) of LBFL will be held at 10:00am on March 30, 2016 at MIDAS Centre in the city's  Dhanmondi area.
The company's record date is on March 14, 2016.
The company has also reported Consolidated Net Profit after Tax of Tk 420.93 million, Consolidated EPS of Tk 1.76, Consolidated NAV per share of Tk 26.02 and Consolidated NOCFPS of Tk 12.33 for the year that ended on December 31, 2015 as against Tk 453.99 million, Tk 1.84 (restated), Tk 25.33 (restated) and Tk 5.86 (restated) respectively for the year that concluded on December 31, 2014.
 Meanwhile, the Board of Directors of Lanka Bangla Securities Limited (LBSL) has recommended 10 per cent stock dividend. The LBSL is a 90.91-per cent subsidiary company of Lanka Bangla Finance Limited.

PICL declares 12.50pc cash dividend
The Board of Directors of Prime Insurance Company Limited (PICL) has recommended 12.50 per cent cash dividend for its shareholders for the year that concluded on December 31, 2015.
The annual general meeting (AGM) of PICL will be held at 11:00am on March 30, 2016 at Bangladesh Institute of Administration and Management (BIAM) at New Eskaton in the capital.
The company's record date is on March 14, 2016.
The company has also reported EPS of Tk 2.15, NAV per share of Tk 17.42 and NOCFPS of Tk (1.73) for the year that ended on December 31, 2015.

SAPL declares 10pc stock dividend
The Board of Directors of Summit Alliance Port Limited (SAPL) has recommended 10 per cent stock dividend for its shareholders for the year that concluded on December 31, 2015.
The annual general meeting (AGM) of SAPL will be held at 11:00am on May 21, 2016 at the Summit Alliance Port Depot (West) at South Patenga in Chittagong.
The company's record date is on March 21, 2016.
The company has also reported EPS of Tk 0.87, NAV per share of Tk 28.00 and NOCFPS of Tk 1.38 for the year that ended on December 31, 2015.

Cos to hold board meeting
SIL: Shurwid Industries Limited (SIL) has organised its board meeting at the company's head office at 6:00pm tomorrow (February 25, 2016).
The SIL board members will consider, among others, its un-audited financial statements for the Second Quarter (Q2) period that concluded on December 31, 2015 in the meeting.
SCML: Saiham Cotton Mills Limited (SCML) has organised its board meeting at the company's head office in the city at 3:30pm on February 28, 2016.
The SCML board will consider, among others, its un-audited financial statements for the Third Quarter (Q3) period that ended on January 31, 2016 in the meeting.
SBL: Singer Bangladesh Limited (SBL) has organised its board meeting at the SBL head office in the city at 2:35pm on March 01, 2016.
The company's board members will consider, among others, its audited financial statements for the year that concluded on December 31, 2015 in the meeting.
LSC: Lafarge Surma Cement Limited (LSC) has organised its board meeting at the LSC head office at 3:00pm on March 3, 2016.
The company's board will consider, among others, its audited financial statements for the year that ended on December 31, 2015 in the meeting.

City Bank EGM now March 27
With reference to their earlier news (disseminated by DSE on February 9, 2016) in connection with IFC's Direct Equity Investment & Convertible loan issuance, the extraordinary general meeting (EGM) of The City Bank Limited (City Bank) will now be held on March 27, 2016 instead of earlier declared on March 24, 2016.
All other information in connection with the EGM will remain unchanged.

Trading of co shares
RAK Ceramic: Trading of the shares of RAK Ceramic (BD) Limited will be allowed only in the Spot Market and Block transactions will also be settled as per spot settlement cycle with cum benefit from today (February 24) to tomorrow (February 25, 2016).
Trading of the company's shares will remain suspended on record date on February 28, 2016.
SIL: Trading of the shares of Shurwid Industries Limited (SIL) was suspended on its record date on Tuesday (February 23, 2016) for annual general meeting (AGM) and extraordinary general meeting (EGM).
