GAZIPUR, Feb 17: Police recovered the body of a woman from Arichpur-Gazibari area under Tongi thana in the city early on Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as Jhumur Akhter, 32, wife of Mukter Hossain, a resident of the area. Jhumur, daughter of Hossain Mullah of Rajnagar under Rampal thana in Khulna district, was living at a rental house in the area with her husband and son.
On information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body from the fourth floor of a five storied building of the area and sent it to hospital morgue, police said.
Police are investigating the matter.
