After winning the toss, New Zealand chose to bat first and scored a tiny total of 135 runs for all in 44.5 overs. Afghanistan bowlers were successful to damage their innings. Adding only 35 runs on the scoreboard New Zealand U-19 lost their sixth batsman. Afghanistan's Shamsurrahman and Rashid Khan grabbed three wickets each while Zia-ur-Rehman and Tariq picked up two wickets each. In reply, Afghanistan Under-19s reached the target losing only two wickets with 135 balls remaining. Tariq made an unbeaten half century hitting six fours and one six. For his all-rounding performance he was named the man of the match.
Pakistan vs Nepal Nepal U-19 won the toss and sent Pakistan to bat first, Pakistan U-19 lost their openers too early but they recovered well and riding on Hasan Mohsin century they scored 258 runs for eight in 50 overs. One down Saif Badar just missed the century for 12 runs. Lamichhane of Nepal grabbed three wickets giving 55 runs. In reply, in front of Pakistan's tight bowling Nepal lost their all wickets in just 43.5 overs and managed to score only 136 runs. Tail ender Prem Tamang batted in style scoring unbeaten 65 runs whacking 11 fours and one six.
