US Ambassador Marcia Stephens Bloom Bernicat and BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia held a meeting on Monday to discuss existing bilateral affairs and Bangladesh’s latest political development.

The meeting was held at Khaleda’s Gulshan residence Firoza from 6:30pm to 8:30pm, said a party source.

BNP acting secretary general Mirza fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Standing Committee member Dr Abdul Moyeen Khan, party Chairperson’s advisors Riaz Rahman and Dr Sabihuddin Ahmed were, among others, present in the meeting.
