DIANJPUR, Jan 7: A housewife was killed in a road accident at Sadar upazila here on Wednesday morning.
The deceased was identified as Shilpi Rani, 30, wife of Sushanta Roy of Dopail village under Pirganj upazila of Thakurgaon district.
On her way to bus stand for coming to Dinajpur by a votvoti (locally-made vehicle), Shilpi fell from the vehicle and got severe injuries in her head.
She was admitted to Dinajpur Medical College Hospital where she died after one hour.
An unnatural death (UD) case was filed with Dinajpur Kotwali Police Station.
