NARSINGDI, Jan 7: An allegation of violation of a minor has been reported at Kortetoil in Polash upazila of the district.
The victim, aged around 8, was admitted to the Victim Support Centre of Narsingdi Sadar Hospital early Wednesday.
Family members said, Victim's neighbour one Joymuddin, 40, took the girl to his bathroom  and violated her.
Hearing the girl's scream, neighbours rushed to the scene and rescued her in a critical condition.
She was first taken to the upazila health complex before being shifted to Narsingdi Sadar Hospital.
