KHULNA, Dec 6: Two passengers of a battery-run easy bike were killed and three were injured when a Kustia-bound passenger bus collided head on with the easy bike here on Wednesday.
The accident occurred around 1.30pm in front of Adams, an NGO, at relegate area under Daulatpur Police Station in the city.
Police and local people said the easy bike was crushed as Rupsha Express speedy passengers bus hit it, leaving five including driver critically injured.
They were rushed to Khulna Medical College Hospital (KMCH) where on-duty doctors declared two of them dead.
The other three were admitted at the KMCH.
Police held the killer truck but its driver managed to flee.
