Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has earned 25 crore Taka from the third edition of BPL that concluded on December 15. BCB president Nazmul Hasan Papon informed it at a press conference in connection with the BPL-3 on Sunday at the Press Conference Area of Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.
He said, "We are not thinking about the financial benefit of BPL. Excluding all the expense we have 25 crore Taka from this edition. The previous franchises who participated this time paid their all dues. And there is no chance of any financial complexity with the new franchises.
He also mentioned previous three franchises had dues to BCB and BCB will file case against them.
He said, "Three franchises owe to us. We did not get that till now. We will take legal action against them. We will file case against them. They have to pay the dues. The due amount was 70 crore taka and we got 50 crore. They still woe 20 crore."
