Jamuna Bank Limited (JBL) opened its 100th branch at Pirgachha in Rangpur on Thursday. Former lawmaker (Rangpur-4) Karim Uddin Varosha inaugurated the branch as the chief guest, while the bank's Chairman Md Sirajul Islam Varosha presided over the inaugural ceremony.
Jamuna Bank Foundation Chairman Nur Mohammed, and JBL Risk Management Committee Chairman Engineer AKM Mosharraf Hussain, Director Md Belal Hossain, independent directors Md Rafiqul Islam and Narayan Chandra Saha and Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Shafiqul Alam attended the ceremony as special guests.
Local elite and businessmen were also present on the occasion.
