More three banks have recently donated blankets as part of their corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme to Prime Minister's (PM) Relief and Welfare Fund at a function at her official residence, Ganobhaban, in the capital for distributing cold-hit people of the country.
The banks were Arab-Bangladesh Bank Limited (AB Bank), EXIM Bank Limited (EXIM Bank) and Pubali Bank Limited (PBL), said press releases.
AB Bank: The bank's Chairman M Wahidul Haque handed over donation of 25,000 pieces of blankets to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
AB Bank Vice-chairman Salim Ahmed was also present in the handing over ceremony.
EXIM Bank: Chairman of EXIM Bank Md Nazrul Islam Mazumder handed over a token of 25,000 pieces of blankets to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
The bank's Director Nurul Amin Faruq also attended the handing over ceremony.
PBL: Chairman of Pubali Bank Hafiz Ahmed Mazumder handed over a sample of 25,000 blankets to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
The bank's Director Monzurur Rahman was also present on the occasion.
The banks donated the blankets as a member of the Bangladesh Association of Banks (BAB).
