Popular actress Diti, who is undergoing treatment at a Chennai hospital for brain tumour, is now in the ICU on breathing tubes and IV.

In her facebook wall, Diti's daughter Lamia Chowdhury said her mother's condition is 'critical'.

Lamia also said Diti was initially said to be in need of a third surgery. But it is not possible right now in such condition as she was put on artificial ventilation. She also sought doa for her mother.

Diti had first underwent a brain surgery in the Madras Institute of Orthopedics and Traumatology (MIOT) on July 29.

The actress was taken to Chennai again as she fell sick.
