Cox's Bazar Dec 3 : The activists of Islami Chhatra Shibir, the student's wing of Jamaat-e-Islami, allegedly cut tendons of both ankles of Bangladesh Chhatra League leader Razibul Islam Mustak in Cox's Bazar Sadar upazila on Thursday evening.
After the incident, BCL leaders and activists carried out demonstrations in town in protest and attacked the Jamaat office. They barricaded the main road in the town.
They also vandalised and torched the Jamaat office. Firemen brought the fire under control around 9:00pm.
