Aussi football team assured of security

Though the Australia cricket team did not come showing insecurity as a reason, the football team of Australia will come to play for the World Cup qualifier in Dhaka.The government will provide all the necessary security arrangements.
Some decisions were taken for ensuring security during the match in an inter-ministerial meeting in the capital on Tuesday. A notice of the Ministry of Youth and Sports explained that the gallery portion adjacent to the tunnel of the dressing room will remain empty during the match and all the shops at the Bangabandhu National Stadium (BNS) will be shut down 24 hours before the match.
The notice also mentioned that the public will not be allowed inside the Sheikh Jamal playground during the practice sessions and that enough security measures will be taken to ensure the safety of the ground.
Mark John Saliba and Liam James Rayan had a meeting with the Ministry of Home Affairs and the highest body of the security agency on Sunday and were acquainted with all security plans for the upcoming match. They expressed their satisfaction with the arrangements.
The representatives from the Football Federation of Australia (FFA) inspected all the facilities including the ground, accommodations, all around the match and practice venues on Tuesday. Head of the security of the FFA, Mark John Saliba, executive of the security wings of FFA Liam James Ryan, and security official from Australia, Patrick Michael went to Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club ground, the practice ground for the Australian team, BNS, where the match will take place.
Earlier, Australia cricket team withdrew Bangladesh tour on the plea that insecurity prevails in the country following the murder of two foreigners.
