Imrul Kayes has been recalled for Bangladesh's ODI series against Zimbabwe after Soumya Sarkar was ruled out for an injury.
Aggressive opener Soumya's injury landed a hefty blow to the Tigers' ahead of the three-match ODI series that starts on Nov 7.
Left-handed opener Kayes played his last ODI in March in the World Cup.
The selectors replaced Soumya with Kayes in the squad for the first two matches.
BCB Chief Selector Faruque Ahmed confirmed the replacement on Thursday.
Incidentally, Kayes played a fine 56 off 64 balls for BCB XI against Zimbabwe in a warm-up match on Wednesday.
