Police arrested four people suspecting their involvement in the bomb blasts at Huseni Dalan in Old Dhaka early Saturday.
Law enforcers detained the four people from the spot after the explosions.
Contacted, Chawkbazar Police Station officer-in-charge M Azizul Haque said they have already held four suspected people from the place of occurrence.
“They’re now being grilled now under the custody of Detective Branch (DB) of police,” the OC said.
Meanwhile, Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) formed a three-member probe committee to investigate the bomb blasts.
A 16-year old boy was killed and around 100 people were injured in the bomb explosions at the Shia Muslim community’s headquarters, Huseni Dalan, in the old part of Dhaka city early Saturday.
Three homemade bombs went off around 1:45 am when Shia community people gathered there for bringing out a Tajia procession marking holy Ashura.
