Int'l Club Cup Football
Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club do not participating in the ongoing Sheikh Kamal International Club Cup Football Tournament in Chittagong. That's why Mamunul, captain of Bangladesh National Team and players of Sk Jamal do not playing in the tournament. Everyone in the National team are now on vacation. As the home town of Mamunul, he went to Chittagong to watch live match on Tuesday but he didn't found any seat for him. Then he watched the match sitting on the press box with journalists.
Mamunul said, "I came here to watch the match but I didn't manage any seat for me. As a running national team player it is disappointing to see that to enjoy the match from spectator's seat. This type of tournament is being held after so many years and also in my home town but I do not playing in the tournament. So I feel too bad."
Why Sk Jamal didn't participate in the tournament? Answering the question Mamunul said, "This is our club official's issue. If club take part in the tournament we also play but I have to say we just missed many things. I think the football lovers also missed a good quality football. Also there was a chance to play as another team player but our club didn't allow playing with others. But more than all these, the shocking thing is the best club in the country was not playing in the tournament."
Not only Mamunul but also so many sports journalists neglected by the organisers who came here to cover the tournament. There was no extra seat in the press box for them and they manage seat in the press conference room. Internet service was awful because of no WIFI connection. Channel 9 could not telecast the first match on full time because of power failure. All journalists don't know what's next to be faced by them in the International Club Cup tournament.
