RAJSHAHI, Oct 18: Member of police in a drive arrested a lifetime jailed murder criminal woman from Khorchaka village under Godagari Upazila of Rajshahi district on Sunday morning.
The arrestee was identified as Mayuri, 55, wife of Tiarul Haque, resident of the same village of the upazila here. SM Abu Farad, the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Godagari Police Station, said that Mayuri and Tiarul jointly set fire and killed their second wife at April of 2002.
Case was filed and court convicted Mayuri for lifetime jailed but she was in hide for a long time. Finally police arrested her. We would take necessary legal steps against her. OC added.
