Export Import Bank of Bangladesh (EXIM Bank) Limited opened its 97th branch in Lalpur upazilas of Natore district on Sunday.
In this connection, an inaugural ceremony was held at Lalpur SM Pilot High School and BM College on the day, said a press release.
EXIM Bank Md Abdul Mannan, MP attended the inaugural ceremony as the chief guest, while its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr Md Haider Ali Miah presided over the ceremony.  
Lawmaker of Natore-1 Advocate Md Abul Kalam Azad was present on the occasion as the special guest.
The bank's deputy managing directors Khandaker Rumi Ehsanul Haque and Md Firoj Hossain and others senior executives and local elite attended the function.
