Janata Bank Limited (JBL) organised its branch managers' conference at the bank's Divisional Office (Dhaka North) conference room in the city on Friday.
The bank's Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Managing Director Md Abdus Salam attended the conference as the chief guest, said a press release.
  Janata Bank Deputy Managing Director (DMD) Afroza Gul Nahar was present as the special guest, while its DMD Omar Farooque presided over the conference.
JBL General Manager (Head Office) Md Nazrul Islam and General Manager Md Nurul Alam were also present on the occasion along with concern SME-based branch managers.
The bank's CEO advised the managers to disburse its credit among agricultural and SME sector for ensuring local development.
