Ambassador of the Netherlands to Bangladesh Leoni Margaretha Cuelenaere on Sunday met newly elected President of the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) Md Siddiqur Rahman and other leaders at the latter's office.
"This was just a curtsey call, and we discussed how Bangladesh's exports to the Netherlands could be increased," BGMEA Vice President (Finance) Mohammed Nasir who was present at the meeting told reporters.
They also discussed issues relating to product prices and further market expansion to the Netherlands.
BGMEA Senior Vice President Faruque Hassan, Directors ANM Saifuddin and Miran Ali were also present.
