Yes, you are innocent, you did not commit any crime, even you did not attempt to commit any crime. Still you are accused!!!
In recent years, false cases have significantly increased in Bangladesh!!!  This situation is alarming in real sense. False cases have already marked a question sign of legal proceedings. The real purpose of creating and enforcing law is only for the well-being of people and provide justice. However, some people consider legal remedies as the weapon of achieving their goal and implementing their ill motive.
The main reason of logging false complains is to take revenge. Out of anger and intention of taking revenge people are doing so. They forget that logging false complains itself crime. It is strange but dirty truth in our society that even innocent people are being harassed due to false cases like dacoit, theft, murder, torture, cheat and so on. Moreover, sensitive cases like torture, rape, and attempt to rape are just false and baseless and intended to hamper reputation & money. "Nari-O-Shishu Nirjaton Domon Ain" & "Dowry Prohibition Act" are become one of the most effective weapons of attack.
What is the remedy?? If you become the victim of false case, must contact a lawyer. Remember, no matter how intelligent you are, don't take risk. Lawyers are expert in legal issues. They know the right and effective ways to defend you. Law provides remedy regarding this.
According to Section 250 of the Code the Criminal Procedure, Section 211 of the Code of the Criminal Procedure, Section 17 of the Nari-O-Shishu Nirjaton Domon Ain you shall be given portection thoroughout the whole procedure.
