SPL declares 29pc stock dividend
The board of directors of Saif Powertec Limited (SPL) has recommended 29 per cent stock dividend for its shareholders for the year that concluded on June 30, 2015.
The SPL board has also decided to increase its authorized share capital from Tk 100.00 crore to Tk 500.00 crore subject to the approval of the shareholders in the annual general meeting (AGM) by amending Clause IV of the Memorandum of Association and Article 4 of the Articles of Association of the company.
The company's AGM will be held at 10:00am on November 12, 2015 at Institute of Diploma Engineers Bangladesh (IDEB) in the city's Kakrail area.
Record date of the company is on October 15, 2015.
The SPL has also reported EPS of Tk 3.07 (weighted), NAV per share of Tk 24.50 and NOCFPS of Tk (0.52) for the year that ended on June 30, 2015, which was Tk 1.89 (weighted), Tk 26.84 and Tk (4.87) for the same period of the previous year.
DBH board meeting Sept 29
Delta Brac Housing Finance Corporation Limited (DBH) has organised its board meeting at the company's head office in the city at 2:30pm on September 29, 2015.
The DBH board members will consider its audited financial statements for the financial year that ended June 30, 2015 and other matters related to the 19th annual general meeting (AGM) of the company in the meeting.

Ibn Sina: Abdus Samad Ferdous and Shaheen Ferdous, sponsors of The Ibn Sina Pharmaceutical Industry Limited (Ibn Sina), will sell their entire holding of 24,948 shares each of the company at prevailing market price through stock exchange within October 29, 2015.
Trading of BSCCL shares
Trading of the shares of Bangladesh Submarine Cable Company Limited (BSCCL) will be allowed only in the Spot Market and Block transactions will also be settled as per spot settlement cycle with cum benefit from Tuesday (September 22) to September 28, 2015.
Trading of the BSCCL shares will remain suspended on record date on September 29, 2015.
DSE, CSE remain closed Sept 23-27
The trading and official activities of Dhaka Stock Exchange Limited (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) will remain closed from today (September 23) to September 27, 2015 on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha. DSE and CSE will resume its trading and official activities from September 28, 2015.

FICL: Bar. Imtiaz Uddin Ahmad Asif, sponsor of Federal Insurance Company Limited (FICL), has sold 8,00,000 shares of the company at prevailing market price through stock exchange as announced earlier.

BBS paid-up shares increased
Paid-up shares of Bangladesh Building Systems Limited (BBS) have been increased by 17,664,000 bonus shares (i.e. 20 per cent bonus of 88,320,000 shares) as the scrip has been allowed to trade as ex-benefits with effect from Monday (September 21, 2015).
