Lalmonirhat: A woman was killed as a train hit her at Clinic para in Hatibandha upazila here on Monday morning.

The victim was identified as Lovely Akter, 40, wife of Shahidure Rahman of Poshchim Haldi Bari.

Shafiur Rahman,Patikapara  union parishad chairman, said a local train from Burimari knocked  Lovely when she  went to bring her goat  near the rail line in the morning, leaving her dead on the spot.
